…when I am out and my friend is driving me
…from benign to hideous
….they vary in size
This series comprises commissioned photography for Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind exhibition “Seeing Things”, created in response to personal accounts of Charles Bonnet Syndrome hallucinations. The exhibition opened at The Gallery Space at The Forum, Norwich 30th April – 13th May 2018.
The exhibition raises awareness of Charles Bonnet Syndrome - a fascinating but often misunderstood condition that causes visual hallucinations following sight loss. Each image was inspired by actual, experienced hallucinations as recorded and reported by CBS sufferers themselves. 7 artists have interpreted many of these reported hallucinations using virtual and augmented reality, painting, sculpture, photography, and digital art.
Other artists exhibiting at the same show: David Chedgey, Henry Driver, Martin Laurance, Matt Reeve, Louise Richardson, and Devin Smith
